"We were supported for our audit by Christine. She was extremely friendly and personable. Immediately, very respectful of the needs of our service users and how they may feel during an inspection to which we were very grateful. Christine was clear and concise in how she would conduct the audit and what we could expect throughout the day. The service she audited has a newly appointed manager, Christine took care to provide details and in depth explanations into her findings and suggested improvements for the service. She also did well in reassuring the new manager in what was an unfamiliar experience. We were provided with initial feedback during the inspection. Each item found was fair in it’s decision and constructive which will allow us to better the quality of support we provide. There was also recognition of what is working well in the service, particularly in relation to our Support Plans and Risk Assessments. This had been a huge amount of work recently undertaken at the service, so to obtain this positive feedback was a real morale boost for those involved. The manager commented that he felt more positive about the work that remained to be done as he can see the benefits of the recognition. The day overall was a very positive and enjoyable experience and we would welcome Christine to visit one of our services in the future. Please do pass on our thanks to her."
